Placement | ISAAC CORDAL

P•lacement: the act of placing, as in a suitable job, grade or school.

It’s time to speak about a great artist from my homeland; Isaac Cordal [ Pontevedra,1974 ] lives between Galicia and Brussels even though his sculptures have been seen in many other European cities and he has exhibited worldwide.

What I love tha most about his art works is the way he uses something so small (appoximately 15cm) to talk about the big issues of nowadays society as global warming, consumerism, massive media, competitiveness, depression, suicide and so on.

In contrast to brands which bombard with advertising every single day, his small nomadic sculptures are there for those who want to see further … and are able to find them.
